Baking Season

Every holiday season I look forward to baking a treat in preparation for our neighbor Christmas cookie boxes. This year, I am testing out a new Joe Joe-inspired cookie that brings together two of my favorite flavor profiles – peppermint and chocolate. This was an especially fun recipe to bake with Syd and Margot knowing it will be featured in the cookbook (slotted to publish in 2026. All good things take time, haha)!

It’s time for decking the halls, prepping for hosting, and choosing a few looks to keep in the rotation. I love the versatility of this set from Sézane – comfortable on its own (and so cute paired with a more casual shoe) but perfect to dress up with a blazer and heels, making it a perfect look for the holiday season.
