Summer Adventures

The McGees made our annual pilgrimage to Newport this past week and it was as close to perfect as a trip can be. We love to visit this sunny spot on the California coast and to spend some quality time doing all of our favorite things with the girls. No trip to Newport is complete without a stop for donuts and a cruise on a Duffy boat. Shoutout to Wren for these pics of mom and dad.

Tyler of Killowen Construction puts on a summer party every year for employees and clients. My girls literally count down the days and would not miss it for the world. Ivy practically refused to leave and who can blame her? Complete with face painting and horse rides, and in a beautiful mountain setting, who would ever want to leave?

With the tech outages a couple of weeks ago the dresses I had ordered for our McGee & Co. winter and holiday shoot didn’t arrive on time. Thankfully, I had this dress waiting for its moment and, honestly, it was perfect for the space. I love the way the fabric complemented the festive mood without being too dressy.
