See a Wall-To-Wall Mural in This Custom Primary Suite

“The primary bedroom pulls in finishes from the great room and then takes them to a more dressed up place,” Shea explains. Perhaps the biggest defining design element in the room is how the walls are adorned. “We wrapped the entire bedroom in a mural wallpaper. Our clients fell in love with it and it’s the perfect complement to this space,” Shea notes.

One of the big conversation topics amongst Shea and the design team in this primary bedroom is how to insure all of the different wood tones felt cohesive. “We did a canopy bed in a wood tone, and the nightstands, the ceiling, the floor, and even the dresser. We had a lot to work with and we wanted to make sure everything worked together,” Shea explains. To help out, the design team gathered samples of all of the wood tones and compared them together as a group. Being able to view this as one mitigates any clashing tones.
